Europeans stand at a crossroads. Are we willing to fight for the liberal, progressive and open order that we have built over the past 80 years, or are we going to let others dictate our future for us? With Donald Trump returning to the White House, Ukraine’s fight for its independence hanging in the balance, and dark clouds on the horizon from the Middle East, to Africa, to the far East, does Europe still have what it takes to shape world history and its own fate, if necessary by force of arms?
